A stir fry

A healthy yet scrumptious meal you can make in no time for your family is a stir fry. Wholesome and nutritious, your kids will love tucking into a dish of delicious noodles. And it’s easier than you think to cook up a stir fry. You just need to chop up some of your favourite vegetables and then cook them in a wok along with your choice of sauce such as sweet chilli or soy sauce. You can then add a pack of egg noodles or rice noodles if you prefer and cook for a few minutes. It’s also a good idea to add some cooked prawns or even chicken which you can cook in a separate frying pan to give it some extra flavour.

A tuna pasta bake

Most kids love a good pasta dish. But instead of resorting to a high-fat mac and cheese when cooking for your family, why not go for a tuna pasta bake instead. It’s easy to make and has high nutritional value. All you need to do is boil the pasta until cooked and then stir in a tomato sauce which you can make easily with onion and tomatoes and then add in a can of tuna. You can place the mixture in a dish, add a bit of cheese and cook for 10 minutes. Serve with salad to make it extra delicious.

Chargrilled chicken salad

With warmer weather on its way, it’s a good idea to embrace salads for your family dinner. It’s quick and easy to make up a salad which your family can enjoy. But to make it even tastier, you should add some chargrilled chicken to the mix. You can either buy the chicken already chargrilled or make the seasoning yourself to fry on the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, you can add it to your salad which is easily made up of parsley, garlic, red onion, cucumber and a vinegar of your choice.
